perfect hardboiled eggs

Ah the art form of the hardboiled egg. I’m sure you have heard a million ways on how to boil your eggs; this is the way I like to do it. I love finishing them with maldon sea salt, fresh herbs, and lemon oil


ingredients

  • 6 fresh organic eggs

  • water


Makes 6 (12 halves) hardboiled eggs

Place eggs into medium saucepan, fill with warm water 1” above eggs

Bring to a full boil.  Turn off the heat, cover and cook for 12-13 minutes, drain most of the water out and fill same pot with cold water.  Peel eggs using water to help remove shells.

Slice and garnish with fresh herbs, lemon oil, and flaky sea salt
